Amazing new diet?

The National Food Survey conducted by the Ministry of Agriculture Fisheries and Food says the average person eats about 20% less than they did in 1970. However, time pressures and the advent of ‘junk food’ also means that many of us aren’t eating very wisely.
Consequently, more than half the UK population are now overweight and one in seven is regarded as obese - twice the level recorded in 1980. Obesity is costing the National Health Service at least £200 million a year - £30 million on slimming-down the 7.5 million who are very fat; the rest on treating other health problems caused by being overweight. Statistics show that people who are just 20% over their standard weight run a number of health risks, including a 50% greater risk of cardiovascular disease and a 40% greater risk of diabetes.
Despite the millions of pounds spent on research and the dozens of magazine articles heralding yet another ‘amazing new diet’, it is clear that no one has succeeded in finding a safe, nutritious and effective weight management programme that is easy enough to appeal to the majority.
Forever has designed its Forever Nutri-Lean Programme as a weight management plan that can be adapted to the needs of many. It is nourishing, enjoyable and deliberately easy to use.
